#7: Demong Sapa Homestay – The Switzerland of Vietnam
Price: $28 per night (good for two)
Location: 20-minute drive from Sapa town + a trek
We began our journey at Demong Sapa Homestay. It’s The journey was an adventure. First, we drove for 20 minutes from Sapa’s main town. Then, we trekked down narrow trails into the fields. Don’t stress about carrying your bags. When you get to the main road, a valley service with motorbikes is there to help carry your things. You can either walk down or ride, all while soaking in the breathtaking scenery.

The Vibes: The welcome area doubles as a café and lobby, with warm brown and beige tones, traditional clay pots, cultural artwork, and a woven ceiling. It’s rustic, charming, and oh-so-Instagrammable.

The Room: Our cosy space above the café features a comfy double bed and warm wooden accents. It has a private bathroom with hot and cold showers and eco-friendly toiletries. The stable Wi-Fi and mini desk by the window make it an ideal spot for remote work, all with a stunning view.

#6: Rock Garden Homestay – Roundhouse Magic
Price: $70 per night (good for two)
Location: 25-minute drive from Sapa city center
Next up, we checked into Rock Garden Homestay, and wow, it felt like stepping into nature’s private theater. High above the city, just 25 minutes away, this spot gave us stunning 180° mountain views that amazed us.
Why We Loved It

The Roundhouse: We stayed in one of their iconic round cabins perched on a cliff’s edge. The curved windows amplified the panoramic views, making us feel part of the scenery. At $70 per night for two, it was simple yet stunning—minimalist decor, warm wooden finishes, and a huge comfy bed.

#5: Hotel de la Coupole – Sapa’s #1 Luxury Spot

Location: Heart of Sapa town
Hotel de la Coupole, Sapa’s top hotel with thousands of five-star reviews, was a splurge we just had to try. Located in the heart of Sapa, it’s a short walk to top restaurants and shops. It also connects directly to the fancy Fan Si Pan tram, making it perfect for exploring.

The Lobby: Walking in felt like a mix of an 1800s French art gallery and Highland culture. Vintage pieces, quirky decor, and antique trinkets filled the space. It was different, and we were hooked.

Service: It was excellent from the start. We enjoyed hot chocolate and warm towels when we arrived. Plus, we got an early check-in at noon instead of 2 p.m. since we arrived early.

You’ve probably seen Pistachio Hotel on TikTok—its mini jacuzzi with a mountain backdrop went viral, and we had to see it for ourselves. This four-star gem in the city center welcomed us with hot cinnamon tea, setting the tone for a cozy stay.

Topping our list is Sapa Farmstay, a family-run Airbnb that felt like home. We booked their dome-shaped villa with a plant-covered roof for $38 for two, and it stole our hearts.
